I took a revolver to a USPSA match just to see what would happen

I brought a revolver to a USPSA match out of curiosity and I ended up reloading slower than everyone else on every stage but it was one of the most fun matches I have shot and was a good reminder that not everything has to be about performance.

I love revolvers and they are part of my EDC system. I don't carry them everyday but I did yesterday and I shoot them regularly.

Revolvers slow things down but they really highlight fundamentals and make the match more about smooth execution than pure speed.

 I also once brought a revolver to a USPSA match and, no surprise, I finished dead last. But you know what? I also finished with the biggest grin on my face.
