Always wanted a Colt .44, but I've noticed that the older models aren't really suited for frequent carry or use due to their lack of modern safety features. Are there any updated revolvers that still have that classic look?

It would be the Colt Anaconda. For me it retains that iconic Colt design, yet it’s crafted with contemporary materials and machining techniques that enhance its shootability and reliability for regular use. You get the solid weight, the robust feel, and the nostalgia of a classic Colt, all without the concerns that come with an old gun.

Been carrying a Colt SAA in 44 Spl for over 40 years. On these old single actions, you carry with an empty cylinder under the hammer. Who needs more than five shots?

It'll be the S&W Model 69. It might not be a Colt, but it has that classic wheelgun vibe and is sturdy enough for real-life situations. If I were looking for something to carry around and admire, this would probably be my go-to.
