At my local range, the longest shot I've taken was 300 yards. It took me a few tries to really dial in, but once I settled into my breathing and trigger control, the hits started coming steady. It was a great reminder of how much patience and fundamentals matter at longer distances. so over to you folks, what's the longest shot you've managed at your range, and how did it turn out?

Oh, I've had a similar experience! My longest at my local range was 275 yards. It took a bunch of adjustments on the scope and careful breathing, but once I got it dialed, it felt awesome to see those hits land consistently

Nice, 275 yards is impressive! It's crazy how much breathing, trigger control, and scope adjustments matter at those distances

I regularly shoot at 300 yards as I own some acreage. All my magnums are sighted dead on there. I sight my non-mags or standard calibers in dead on at 200 yards. I probably shoot 500 rounds per year. Practice and concentration are the main requirements. I've got several fine Zeiss and Leupold scopes, but many would be amazed at how well the older, Japanese-lens Bushnell scopes will shoot. I should add that I don't dial in ranges with my scopes. For me, dialing is really for target work, not hunting.
