What's your go-to carry revolver and what makes it your top choice? I'm eager to hear from those who carry wheelguns regularly about their experiences and what they find most effective in everyday situations.

S&W 642 & 442 with the "FBI" load is my favorite carry revolver combo. Have 2 of them because well "one is none and two is one".LOL. I find a j frame in a front pocket a very comfortable kit. With practice someone can become quite accurate with one.

I’d go with the Colt King Cobra Carry in .357 Magnum. The trigger is buttery smooth, the build feels solid, and it’s just the right size for hiding away when you need to.

I carry a Charter Bulldog in 44 Spl. It’s light, relatively hide able for a wheelgun and packs a punch. Carry guns are for relatively close use so I’ve never felt the need for a magnum. I’ll never put 1000 rounds through it. I’ve owned Charter revolvers for years and never had an issue with one. I don’t use the bigger bores for target practice, though the little Pathfinder 22 I had killed many a squirrel and coke can when the opportunity arose!
