Ammo is the obvious issue for me. There was a time when going to the range was cheap and stress relieving, now it feels like every shot burns a hole in my wallet.

Yeah what used to be casual range trips now require some planning to make it work.

Yeah ammo is one of those things that the price seemed to skyrocket over night and never went back down. Another one is vehicle tires and oil. I've been a reloader for 20 years or so but component prices have increased so much. I did stock up back in the day and am still using powder that I paid $17 lb and primers that were $20 a thousand.
