'Tis the season

What cherished traditions from your family gatherings do you wish you could still celebrate?
Us kids coming downstairs on Christmas day and seeing that big naval orange in the bottom of our stocking that was stuffed to the top, and was hung on the back of the sofa.

What a lovely memory! I think a lot of people here can probably relate to that. It’s funny how the smallest traditions can leave such a lasting impression over the years.

inlaws on christmas eve, my parents on christmas day. lots of eating and plenty of drinking. :)
Those family days back-to-back were always filled with tons of food, laughter, and probably a few late nights. It’s hard to beat that kind of togetherness. That’s the kind of tradition a lot of us really miss.
